“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more”. – Lord Byron
I grew up wandering through long grass looking for insects, swimming with jellyfish, and birdwatching with my Grandad. These memories shape me, outdoor experiences continue to make me. I adore our wildlife, the countryside, our planet. I believe we all need to play our part to protect this place we call home.
As an environmental conservationist, budding naturalist and student; I am always learning about and from the natural world. This blog is a way for me to reflect on and share my experiences.
